Keycon Spring Masquerade Ball
The Keycon Con Com is pleased to announce that we will be having a Spring Masquerade Ball. The Ball will be held once again at the Kismat Banquet Center which is at 280 Fort Street. The Masquerade Ball is currently scheduled for March 4th, please note this is different than the date printed in PR1.
As always the gaming department will be having a games day prior to the Masquerade Ball. Games currently on the line up include Risk 2210AD, Settlers of Catan, a Warhammer 40,000 demo, and the video projector with PS2 gaming system. Additionally there will also be the childrens activity table.
Through out the day there will be other events taking place including:
- A bake sale being put on by the Keycon hospitality suites
- A poetry contest
- A silent auction, and
- A henna artist will be on hand to beautify people before the ball
The Games Day starts at noon, and will be 'Officially' going until 6PM. The Social will 'Officially' be starting at 8PM. Tickets for the social will be $10, and that gets you into the Games Day as well. If you just want to come for the Games Day, tickets for that are $2, but we'd really like to see you all day long.

Keycon007 Meeting

Shawn Marten and Stan Philippon are the chairs for Keycon 2007 and they are continuing to prepare for Keycon007.
This Saturday, February 4th, 2006, they will host an open meeting to discuss what one might want to see at the 2007 Keycon. Do you have any ideas, complaints, or compliments. What do you want to see added or taken away. Or do you just want to find out more about your premier Science Fiction convention?? Remember not all of the convention committee has been picked and while some guests have been confirmed lots of ideas are still being shaped, so now is the time to let the Chairs know what you want in your convention.
As well, all who wish to participate in the organization and presentation of Keycon007 are welcome to approach the chairs to offer their talents and abilities.
The meeting will be help at 586 Enniskillen Ave (off Arlington north of Inkster) at 1 PM. All are invited.
Halloween Social
The Halloween Social has been announced. This year, the social will be held at the Kismat Banquet Center which is at 280 Fort Street. The date will be the 29th of October. As has happened in the past, we'll be having a games day during the day, and the social in the evening. The Games Day starts at noon, and will be 'Officially' going until 6PM.
