Gaming
Welcome to the gaming section of Keycon.org. Here you can check out all the fun and exciting games that are scheduled to be run at this year's Keycon. Check back to see event times and what new games have been posted. Several favourites are returning including the Universal Fighting System (UFS) card game, Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, and Rock Band.
Games Day
As you may have seen on the Keycon.org front page there is a Halloween Social on October 25th. Keycon gaming is proud to announce that we will be having a Games Day before the social. Starting at noon drop by the social hall and enjoy playing a selection of games. In addition to the more traditional board, card, and roleplaying games we will also have a projector and video games on hand.
Locations and Spaces
This year gaming will be housed in the Portage Room and its Lobby on the 11th Floor (through the doors to the left of regestration as you come off the elevators). Here you will find a myriad of board games, collectable card games, table top strategy games, and some of the larger roleplaying game events going on at the convention.
In addition to the gaming going on in Portage, The Sleeping Dragon (Room 1504, head left from the elevators and it's the first room on your right) is once again hosting some of our quieter more atmosphere intensive roleplaying games. Feel free to stop in and check them out or recharge yourself on the food and snacks the suite provides.
Booking Events and Times
As always space is on a first come first reserved basis. Contact me via e-mail or via post or private message on our forums to reserve your time. Requests for times should include the following information:
- Your name
- The name of the game you would like to run
- What space/time slots you would like to run the game in
- A short description of the game (for on the site and possibly in the program book if space permits)
- OPTIONAL: A long description of your game that can be posted to the website to allow players a better idea of what to expect
